July 4, 1999 Starting again from Akuseki to Suwanose.

At 7:21 AM Kohno called, "We plan to leave Akuseki at 7:30 AM for Suwanose.  Although the direct distance is about 20 km we must detour for a total of about 30 kilometers."

At 20:45 PM Kohno called, "We left Akuseki at 7:35 AM and arrived at Motoura Port, Suwanose at 12:50 PM."

"It was cloudy when we started. It rained heavily when we were on the voyage. After the rain, it was so cool.  Water is not available at Motoura port so we are going to stay in a Bed and Breakfast. We will have Tobi-uo sashimi (Tobi-uo is flying fish) for tonight's supper."

Sounds like they are getting a reward for their adventure.

Suwanose Island is not ready to build an antenna for cellular phones. But the cellular phone worked when they arrived at Motoura Port. The aerial for cellular phones in Suwanose will be erected in the very near future.

"Our destination tomorrow is Nakanoshima. We will decide the details of our Third Stage schedule after we arrive at Sata Cape."  There are still openings for your participation in the Third Stage. If you wish, please contact the Expedition Office.

The distance of tomorrow's voyage between Suwanose and Nakanoshima is about 30 kilometers.
