July 7, 1999 Started out from Kuchino, arrive at Yaku.

Kohno phoned the Expedition Office at 6:36 AM. He said, "We are leaving Kuchino island now toward Nagata, Yaku island. The sea has a wave height of 2 meters. Maybe we can take a little more time than we expected."

Today's desitination today is one of the peaks of the expedition's second stage. Mr.Miyake, of the Expedition Office arrived at Yaku island and is waiting for them ready to BBQ.  Kohno and Yoneda are rowing a kayak the 70 km distance to Yaku because BBQ (and for  Miyake). Additionally, the TV crew will be there.

After arriving  at Yaku, Kohno reported to Mr.Miyake, "We arrived Yaku without any problem". By their report, "we started Kuchino 6:45 AM then arrive at Yaku 12 hours 50 minutes after. It was 19:05 PM. The offshore's wave was high and stormy".

Tonight they will has supper with Miyake and TV crew. The day tomorrow is off and they will gather the information for the next voyage.
